The trip and a contested lead are issues for STRICTLY DANCING but she appeals as being well handicapped so we'll overlook our concerns and select her ahead of Addictive Dream and Gojeri. Strictly Dancing has been spoken of in glowing terms by her in-form trainer and caught the eye when beating all bar a hotpot at Chester over seven and she duly obliged at Newbury although she did have to work quite hard in order to do so. She made all to do so over six furlongs and it will be interesting to see what tactics are employed here because she seems certain to improve once stepped back up in trip and won't want this race to be run at a crawl. Glen Shiel raced prominently when winning well at Hamilton whilst Night Trade, Candyfloss Girl and Maoi Chinn Tire all continue to perform with credit in the main but Addictive Dream and Gojeri may emerge as the principal threats. The former split two subsequent winners at Salisbury so could look leniently treated from 2lbs higher whilst the latter beat all bar a handicap blot over course and distance and should go well but this stage is set for Strictly Dancing.
