Paul Cole won this race with an odds-on shot twelve months ago and JETFIRE may be able to overcome a bad draw to get the better of the dangers which are headed by Sceal Nua and The Shrew. The selection looked in need of a step up to this trip when finishing powerfully in vain pursuit on debut but her efforts did see her pull clear of a useful looking field and she can be expected to improve on that initial effort and go close. Sceal Nua showed less at Lingfield but the run was promising nonetheless and she is better drawn than the selection and expected to go well for a yard that has its usual strong hand in this division. The Shrew is an interesting newcomer and a half-sister to a winning juvenile whilst Indian Wish is related to numerous winners in the States and Jamie Spencer has to be regarded as a positive booking for the yard's juveniles. Pencarrow, Dubai Moon and Twin Soul would all merit consideration if attracting market support but the suspicion is that they may fare better with this run under their belts and preference is for Jetfire.
