A cracking maiden in prospect with around half the field worthy of serious consideration but we'll restrict the short-list to OLYMPIC MEDAL, Sumerian and Mirror Lake. La Divina is related to numerous Black Type horses including Islington, Greek Dance and Mountain High to name but three but none of her siblings scored on debut and it seems unlikely that she'll buck the trend. Medici Palace shaped as though in need of a longer trip on both starts but may fare better amongst the rank and file of handicappers whilst Derecho took a backwards step at Nottingham. Librettista deserves credit for her run at Wolverhampton given that she got loose before the start and Kieren Fallon takes over in the saddle and is considered along with Miss Jean Brodie and Minikin but Mirror Lake has stronger claims judged on her pleasing return at Goodwood with this longer trip expected to suit. The longer trip should also suit the well-bred Sumerian who appeals as the type to find considerable improvement for her debut but the same is also true of Olympic Medal who attempts to boost the Sandown maiden form of the last home in the Oaks, Sajjhaa, and the Queen's runner gets the nod.
