In depth

Verdict

The market should provide the usual all important guide here with some well bred debutants going to post. Experience could count for a lot here though so Key Signature who has shown enough in two outings to suggest a maiden is well within her grasp can land it. She showed distinct improvement from first to second runs last time despite wavering on the rain softened ground in the closing stages. On the all-weather for the first time should not be a problem and she is the selection. Mayaalah and the twice raced Prophetise are others to note although John Hills' filly does not look to have achieved as much as Key Signature in two outings. Marcus Tregoning saddles two well bred newcomers for which the market should be monitored while the Stoute filly Damini is bred to stay so it would come as no surprise to see her come on the experience here. This race should produce winners and Key Signature is the pick.
