Temple Of Thebes made an encouraging debut here a fortnight ago and is selected as the one to be on this time around; Rio Princess and Tenjack Queen make the most appeal from those with experience, while Tournevr is bred to be effective at this distance and is a sporting option amongst the newcomers. Jane Chapple-Hyam has already sent out a juvenile winner on debut, so a solid case can be made for the last named. Watch the betting carefully. Tenjack Queen improved at Wolverhampton last time out and looks a likely type for a nursery. She may need a touch further to be seen to best effect, though. Rio Princess didn't look the keenest of participants when second on her latest start at Lingfield. Still, she got the trip well and, as Steve Drowne will be a bit wiser to her temperament, this daughter of Captain Rio should not be underestimated. However, Temple Of Thebes was caught out by her own inexperience when she finished a close third here on debut and, as that outing will have taught her plenty, she is expected to be more like the finished article today.
