      Verdict

In the opener, Tanley is selected ahead of Next Best and Genethni. Tanley was not beaten far in a Haydock claimer last time and, with this being a very modest event, might have enough ability to register a win at today's level. Next Best has already proven competitive in this kind of sphere and might give him most to do. Dark Queen might be worth a look in the betting on her debut, with Kevin Ryan's Genethni being another interesting newcomer. Chief Powderface drops to this grade for the first time so could go well and Filthygorgeous is surely better than her debut effort might suggest. For the selection, though, we will stick with Tanley
