Verdict

The lucky last might be best left alone if your down on you luck but if you do decide to play here RED LILY just gets the call ahead of She's So Pretty and Formidable Guest. Usually in and around the placings she has now returned to a mark the James Fanshawe filly registered a second place in a better contest than this in May. The following rise in weights haven¿t really stopped her with plenty of decent runs also at a higher grade and she drops down in both categories on the back of good performance last time. Everything seems to be in her favour. She's So Pretty comes into this off the back of a three-and-a-quarter length victory in the same class. As a result she will carry an extra seven pounds, which why the verdict goes elsewhere. Previous attempts at this mark have ended in ok but ultimately disappointing outings. Formidable Guest likes it around Kempton after winning here in the Autumn before going on to book in two placings also at the London circuit. Would have chances if not for the weight she has to carry although a slight reduction will help. Bottom weight Play Up Pompey could trouble the judge after an good run last time and he is only one pound higher than when he last tasted victory albeit back in December 2007 improvement on the last outing could have the gelding close but Red Lily should have the beating of him and the others.
