HOLLOW GREEN takes the vote here ahead of and Innactualfact in another very poor contest. Again only two of runners have winning form in the last six outings one of which is our selection. Although running off a mark six pounds higher than when she scored that victory this plucky filly did carry this weight to an excellent second in testing conditions over this trip at Nottingham last time out. She was badly hampered in that race and was closing quickly on the leader in the final few strides suggesting she is better than this lowly grade. The major doubt is that she may need almost bottomless ground to be at her best. Highland River gets a chance here after this Dominic Elsworth colt broke a sequence of three unplaced starts to his career when second of 12 over a shorter trip here last time. Unbalanced at Newmarket on his penultimate outing this one has finally showed some promise and could build on that. Innactualfact disappointed on his all-weather debut over a shorter distance here in the summer but has since found longer trips more to his her liking. Was a credible fourth of 10 at Yartmouth last time on soft and stayed on well where it was noted faster ground would suit better. On that form she is in with a shout especially as this is a step down in class. Nun Today is the other one with winning form in the race. That sole career victory came back in June with performances since have been wayward and this is her first attempt over a mile. Hollow Green it is for us if not a bit tentatively.
