Resplendent Alpha has his best chance for some time and did show some sort of form at Folkestone, but it does take a leap of faith to side with him and preference is for FERNANDO TORRES. Nick Littmoden turns to the blinkers for this course and distance winner, who has every chance from this mark if the headgear enables him to reproduce some of the form he showed last autumn. Fitz is another to have won here when doing so last time out, but it was a poor contest and he has struggled from this sort of mark before. Anjomarba should find it tougher than the sellers and claimers that she has been winning this year, but is at least in good form, while course and distance suit Sovereignty, though the assessor has him 9lbs higher now than last month's success here. The consistent Harting Hill would not be winning out of turn but remains 6lb higher than his last win and Fernando Torres can score.
