Traditionally a strong maiden and victory this year can go to NATHANIEL. John Gosden's colt was well-fancied at Newmarket when unfortunate to bump into the potentially very smart Frankel. The first two were five lengths clear of Genius Beast who re-opposes today and the Kingmambo colt is expected to follow in his dam's footsteps and be more of a force next year over middle distances. Audacious is expected to step up markedly on a modest debut behind Biondetti in a strong Newmarket maiden, whilst Paul Hanagan has a 38% strike-rate for Jeremy Noseda this year so Galiando needs a market check. Musnad, Picture Editor and Silverware join Smart George on the list of interesting newcomers, whilst Terdaad was sent off 2/1 joint favourite for a York maiden but laboured home in midfield.
