Forjatt looks a real force but he is unproven on this ground and so the most narrow of votes instead goes to WOOTTON BASSETT. Without doubt the most interesting sales race of the season so far and Richard Fahey's colt is unbeaten having been backed off the boards for a York sales race last month. He beat Forjatt at the track in July (on the same terms) and may have more to fear from stablemate Chiswick Bey if the ground comes up very soft. Sir Reginald is interestingly ridden by Richard Hughes, whilst Murbeh's form has worked out very well and this Mill Reef entry is high on the list of dangers. Galtymore Lad did the best of those who ran behind Wootton Bassett, and although unproven on soft ground, it might just suit this stamina-laden juvenile. In truth this looks the Richard Fahey show and with Premier Clarets another of his army to consider after a fine fifth to Approve in the Gimcrack, it is hard to see the prize leaving Yorkshire.
