Another fascinating division of this maiden where DOUBLE DEALER is marginally preferred to Glanusk. The latter looked a sirefire improver when finishing just outside the frame at Salisbury on debut and both the experience and this step up in trip are positives tonight. Tazahum is related to winners over this trip at two and is well worth a market check, although the yard's runners are not red hot at present. Mujrayaat appeared to go backwards on his second run but this step up in trip can see him heading the right way again, while James Fanshawe-trained Dimension is well related but the yard is 0-3 with its juveniles this time which is hardly encouraging. Cross The Creek represents a yard going well and is respected on debut along with Come On You Irons, but preference is for Double Dealer. The Godolphin runner made a very pleasing debut on soft ground at Newmarket, but should have no issues with this surface and with natural improvement he can score.

Glanusk 33-1 (9-3) Dwelt, took keen hold, held up in rear, switched to outside 2f out, pushed along and headway over 1f out, stayed on strongly for hand riding inside final furlong, going on to press for 3rd close home, 4th of 11, 4l behind Big Issue (9-3) at Salisbury 6f 2yo mdn (4) gd in Aug.
