    Verdict

    Rated 77, Summer Blossom can figure if the extra furlong suits having placed over 6f here last time. DEIRA SURPRISE was only fourth over 6f at Thirsk in June but that form looks better in hindsight with both of the placed horses subsequently winning and it’s Hugo Palmer’s filly that gets the vote. Of the newcomers, Gleeful and Sand Share are both first foals but represent powerful connections and are worth a second glance in the betting.
