In depth

Verdict

Renaissance Man is top rated here but has the weight to match and faces a difficult task. MATCH MY FIRE just failed to catch Schoolboy Error over 1m4f at Fairyhouse then found 1m6f too far at Bellewstown. Sbraase was narrowly beaten into third in a similar race over the course and distance before scoring over 1m4f at Wolverhampton. He's had 21 starts on Turf without winning but should get into the frame. The three-year-old Lucky Red has yet to win but would have to be considered on his runs at Ayr and Down Royal before finding 1m2f taxing his stamina at Dundalk.
