Verdict

John Gosden complicates matters by running the hat-trick-seeking Rasheed and last year's Ascot winner Thimaar. The former is just preferred as he easily outpointed English Summer at Wolverhampton last time. The latter's stablemate Gulf Of Naples looks to have a better chance as he ended last season on a high with victories at Doncaster and Newmarket but the vote goes to another making his reappearance, KIAMA BAY. John Quinn's progressive charge wound up last year on a 30lb higher mark than when he started it and has scope for further progress over longer trips this term. Right Stuff has a recent outing under his belt and makes most appeal of the remainder back over a more suitable distance with Ryan Moore keeping the ride.
