NAVE can take a successful first step into handicap company by getting the better of Kurtanella and Evergreen Dancer amongst others. Time may tell that Nave didn't have a prayer when twice encountering soft ground during his three runs in maidens but far better is expected on this artificial surface. His best performance came on fast ground but this American bred colt could prove even better suited by Polytrack in which case he may prove to be attractively handicapped. Zinjbar was made favourite for his nursery bow following some promising runs in maidens but the run has to go down as disappointing and the drop back in trip may not be the answer. Hill Of Miller and Candyfloss Girl may be capable of better as may Evergreen Dancer be with marginal preference for John Best's runner who appears to be heading along the right lines. Little has gone right for Kurtanella since her first two starts but she looks to have been overfaced and it would be no great surprise to see her fare much better in this company but we prefer to side with Nave.
