SEA DUBAI may provide Richard Hannon with yet another juvenile winner but Edgewater, Epic and Winged may all have more to offer. Astonishment arguably has the best form and is well drawn but he is the most exposed runner in the line-up and we'd be hopeful that at least one of his opponents could improve past him Winged has the most to do from those named as she failed to beat a rival home on soft ground at Newmarket but this provides her with a completely different test of her capabilities. Edgewater ran a similar race on debut but stepped up considerably at Salisbury where he looked sure to benefit from a seventh furlong; he could well take another step forwards. Epic was well held at Epsom but that's not an easy track for a newcomer to cope with and the field included some fair sorts including Richard Hannon's Cadley Road who ran out an impressive winner of his next start. That should give the East Everleigh trainer a decent line on the form and the selection was far from disgraced in a maiden won by the Superlative Stakes fifth Lord Zenith. Those behind the winner have done little for the form in subsequent outings which is a major negative but not one that's enough to put us off Sea Dubai.
