In depth

Verdict

This has the look of a match between Salsa Verdi and Thinking Positive, though there are a number of other interesting starts and we will plump for Salsa Verdi. The Godolphin runners are not red hot at present but they did have a winner on Saturday and Salsa Verdi can add to their tally. The filly put in a good debut effort over 10f and this extra furlong will be right up her street, so with improvement anticipated she should take some beating. Thinking Positive has had the benefit of two runs and is another improver. She should also love the step up in trip and won't be far away. Blush On Cue and Passing True are both nicely bred newcomers who should be suited by this, while Sugarbush should come on plenty for her Newbury debut and can get involved, but Salsa Verdi looks a decent filly and she can show us here.
