Mary Reveley's horses are not in great form at present and Overstrand was turned over here last time when a short-priced favourite but this looks a weaker contest and he is taken to again get the better of Ammonias, with Renvyle rated the main danger. The last mentioned is less exposed than the selection after just five starts, four of which have come in bumpers, and ran promisingly on his debut over timber when a close fourth behind Karatchi at Ayr. That is still some way below the form shown by Overstrand though and, despite reservations about the form of the Reveley horses, he is difficult to oppose. Ziggy Zen caused a surprise when beating the son of In The Wings by six lengths over course and distance last month, when stablemate Ammonias was a further 12 lengths back in third place so it will be a surprise if the last mentioned can reverse that form. Of the remainder, the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Bobby Dazzler, Henrietta Knight's Captain Flinders and Noel Chance's Crookstown Castle all have shown signs of ability but none can match the proven form of Overstrand, who looks to be the one they all have to beat.
