Guillaume Macaire's Look Collonges blotted his copybook when crashing out at Warwick, when held, last time so this should really be a match between Chicago Bulls and Rosslea, who clashed at Cheltenham in December, with the latter taken to confirm superiority over Alan King's gelding. Chicago Bulls was three-quarters of a length behind the selection in the race won by Therealbandit but is now 1lb better off. However, the son of Darshaan has yet to impress with his jumping and unseated Robert Thornton at Huntingdon last time so preference is for Rosslea. Henrietta Knight's gelding has always looked a chaser and did not disappoint when making a winning debut at Bangor in November. His better jumping gave the son of Roselier the edge over Chicago Bulls behind Therealbandit and he was again seen to good affect at his obstacles when second to Pizarro in Ireland last time. Rosslea's more accomplished jumping is taken to win him the day. None of the others make much appeal in this company with Kim Baileys First Flight probably the pick of them but Rosslea gets the vote.
