Division two of the fillies maiden and as always with these type of contests, the market is best watched to point you in the right direction. HIGH HEELED is a tentative selection to land it. Although well behind what is probably the best juvenile filly seen out this season in Rainbow Dance, High Heeled stayed on well to fill the runner-up berth on debut while the form of that race has since been franked by the third winning a listed contest on Friday evening. It might have been that she contested a hot maiden last time but if one were to defend her, it would be the fact she was rather stuck in the centre of the track, away from where the action was unfolding. The Storm Cat filly Rio Carnival deserves respect given connections while Silk Cotton, who was well adrift of High Heeled on debut showed signs of greenness last time at Redcar. Her family traces back to the likes of former top-class filly Imagine so a victory is all important to connections but that win may have to be obtained in nurseries. Market support for Speedy Cleaners should be taken onboard although the Hannon yard is not renowned for introducing smart juvenile sorts at this venue while Mitra Jaan, who is another to renew rivalry with High Heeled following on from Newmarket in July, was hampered mid-way through that contest. Only a division of a maiden but it will make for interesting viewing and High Heeled is the selection.
