Oak Vintage just failed to hold off the in-form Raecius Felix at Sedgefield on his reappearance. He’s been raised 4lb since but is still well treated on past form and knows where the winning post is here. Mint Gold represents last year’s winning stable and he had Beautiful Ben back in third when scoring at Perth. Treshnish has been disappointing but often attracts market support, though looks too close in the weights to LAKE TAKAPUNA. James Ewart’s charge scored in a higher grade over course and distance last month and looks to be back to his best.
