        Verdict

        Beaten in Listed company last time, LAAFY carried top weight to victory in a handicap at Ascot earlier. He won’t mind any further rain and can go close. Cepheus has more to prove on the ground given it was good going when he finished runner-up at Ascot last month but Iconic Choice won in the soft at Newmarket before beaten at York a fortnight ago. Fishable finished runner-up at the same Knavesmire fixture though this is tougher while Dash Of Spice has plenty to find with the selection and Everything For You has been hurdling since beaten only a head here over a year ago.
