Anna Bunina has made giant strides this summer and she came up against another improver on her hat-trick bid in a Listowel handicap but John McConnell’s filly will need to move up another level to get back to winning ways here. Allmankind was unbeaten over timber prior to finishing third in the Triumph Hurdle here in March. He’d beaten Nordano by 18 lengths in the Finale Hurdle at Chepstow earlier and will be fancied to make a winning return but does carry 4lb extra, as does Stratagem, who has done all of his racing on much softer ground. BOTOX HAS’ only defeat so far over hurdles came against Allmankind in a Grade 2 here last November. He has a 4lb pull in the weights for less than three lengths so could turn the tables if fully wound up.
