Verdict

FOR THREE is eased in grade and now 2lb lower than when completing a double at Hexham in the first half of last year. Theo Gillard takes off a further 7lb and James Ewart’s top weight gets the nod in a weak-looking handicap. Set In Stone is probably a danger having staged something of a revival over the summer. Shaws Bridge could figure if fully primed while Rob Royal found only one too good on a couple of starts at Uttoxeter last month. Enlighten didn’t handle heavy going in February when making his handicap debut and should be capable of better.
