Verdict

The day’s feature has attracted some decent stayers. Truckers Lodge ended last season with a wide-margin victory in the Midlands National at Uttoxeter. One For Arthur won the 2017 Grand National but has only raced six times since and failed to finish in three of those. He was also behind Amalfi Doug in this last year with the latter getting back to winning ways at Perth last month. Michael Scudamore saddled last year’s winner and SOME CHAOS (NAP) is fancied to complete the double given he is only a pound higher than when scoring over course and distance in March of last year. He’s also had a couple of runs to blow away any cobwebs. Chidswell and Claud And Goldie are also previous course winners so preferred to the likes of The Hollow Ginge, Rocky's Treasure and former NH Chase winner Le Breuil.
