This looks to rest between Moscow Leader and Florries Son; with slender preference for the former on the grounds of value alone. Richard Guest's charge has steadily been brought along and has already shown that he has the ability to pay his way in races of this nature with improving efforts over hurdles. However, his future has always looked to be over fences and he has not been over-faced with his introduction over the larger obstacles today. Former Irish chaser Eyze is the one who could also feasibly cause an upset as he has hinted that there are races to be won with him of late and he is not one to rule out too quickly. Where as Loy's Lad returns to a more realistic level after facing an impossible task even before falling at Aintree last time. Even so the seven-year-old has a bit to prove and is passed over for now. Florries Son will provide the selection with a good fight for the money though and will not be too far away at the finish if he runs up to his best. Admittedly, he does set the standard here and will no doubt be supported accordingly. However, he ran a stinker for no apparent reason when last tried over this trip and is opposable for that reason. Which leaves only Moscow Leader to carry our hopes and, as he escapes any kind of penalty, there is too much in Moscow Leader's favour for us to ignore his claims today.
