A race little better than plating fare but AMIR PASHA could be in off a fair mark and he can see off Sea Cove and Prince Tam. Micky Hammond has had a decent summer with his team and while this four-year-old is yet to get his head in front, he has performed with credit in stronger races and could well appreciate this apparent drop in grade. Sea Cove won a Sedgefield contest at odds of 40/1. His third at Uttoxeter off a revised mark is about as good as he is. Prince Tam has campaigned largely on softer surfaces. The market has to be watched on seasonal reappearance. Priory Jo makes a first run for Martin Todhunter having struggled to get her head infront elsewhere. Cadwell would prove a welcome winner for returning trainer, Tim Pitt. Kalatime landed an exceptionally weak plating event at Perth and will need a career best in order to match that achievement here. Spare Days has shown nothing for new connections having left Sue Smith but the booking of Paddy Aspell is certainly of interest. Always Best and Ergo return to the National Hunt game after recent spells on the flat. Amir Pasha is not without negatives but makes the most appeal in a race that makes little as a betting medium.
