This is not the strongest of handicap chases and Sharaab could be good enough to take first prize, Resplendent Star and Young Tot look to be the main dangers. This bunch certainly find it hard to reach the winners enclosure but the selection did it last time out over timber, comfortably beating Manoram at Worcester. His recent win on the flat confirmed his well being and he will be hard to beat this afternoon. Top-weight Resplendent Star has to be of interest in this company and he looked on the way back last time. He only tired at the second last and should appreciate this drop back in trip. Young Tot ran a decent race last time when third to welsh Dane at Worcester, and from the right end of the handicap he should be involved in the finish. The pick of the others could be Lord Of The Hills, but it is hard to ignore Sharaab in this mood and he gets our vote.
