A field of 20 runners makes this a difficult start to the day for backers but those with a low draw seemingly face a difficult task so the likes of Birdie Birdie, Straw Boy and Dispol Splendid may be best watched and preference is for Tokyo Jo. Karl Burke's filly has been performing well in this grade all season, handles cut in the ground and has the benefit of a draw in stall 17. Flamestone encounters this sort of ground for the first time since making his debut and cannot be discounted along with Amelie Brown, who also has a decent draw. Tokyo Jo is a consistent performer in this grade though and she gets the vote.
