Lady Disdain was good value for her win here last time but a 6lb higher mark leaves George Moore's filly with more to do and preference is for Summer Lodge, who gets the vote ahead of Historic Appeal. The selection has run well in each of his last two starts and a 2lb rise for them looks fair so he gets the vote. Floodlight Fantasy has a similar profile to the selection and cannot be discounted along with Richard Fahey's Shaydreambeliever although there is a suspicion that he would want a faster surface. Historic Appeal is hard to recommend on recent evidence but has to be respected on the pick of her form but the consistency of Summer Lodge makes her the one that they all have to beat.
