Mark Johnston has four entries in this race and we are going to select his Philanthropy to score from Arena's Dream and newcomer Wheels In Motion. With the ground on the soft side, the Middleham handler is unlikely to run all his four but Philanthropy, a son of Generous, will relish conditions and has been the subject of good home reports. Even though horses from the Johnston yard invariably come on for a run, they can win first time out. This could be such a case. Of those that have run, the most interesting is Richard Fahy's Arena's Dream, a decent fourth at Carlisle. The step up in trip will also help. Many in this field are likely to need the run but one newcomer worth a second glance is Tom Tate's Wheels in Motion. The trainer has a nice bunch of two-year-olds this season and the son of Daylami certainly looks the part on breeding.
