    Verdict

Alan King's latest French import Walkon is bound to get plenty of attention but we go for WOODY WALLER to land a quick fire double for Howard Jonhson while Danesman also holds a claim for an in form stable. The selection made a more than solid start to life in national hunt racing after running in a similar standard of company at Newcastle when third of 13 last time. He could have gone on to score but fudged the last two fences that day and with a rating of 75 on the flat he showed his stamina with a win over a mile and six at Catterick on the same going. Walkon, the new boy for Alan King, has almost untouchable form in some poor contests in France and won his last two tries on the level over a mile and four furlongs. The ground here will suit but his claims on his recent runs don't seem to be as strong as the selections. That said any significant market swings in his favour should be taken note of. If anyone can produce Danesman for a big run it's Gary Moore, whose string are in fine fettle at present while Highland Homestead may be overpriced and has at least some form on the flat. We'll watch Walkon with interest but the selection is Woody Waller.
