Arctic Lagoon lines up in good heart and can complete a hat-trick, with Prince of Slane, Carriage Ride and Litron seen as his main rivals. Arctic Lagoon won very easily over the course and distance at the end of last month when put back over fences, having earlier broken his duck over hurdles here. Trainer Sue Bradburne has obviously found the key to him, and the six-year-old, who had been winnerless in over three years, can at last be followed. He still has a handy weight here against some decent rivals including Prince of Slane whose stable is in a bit of form. Carriage Ride gave a good account of himself at Cartmel last time and it is not hard to see him battling for a place at least, while Litron may well appreciate the step up in trip after chasing home the selection's stablemate Bodfari Signet at Perth in May. Starbuck has point-to-point form here but is up against it and Tee-Jay is held on last time out running by Arctic Lagoon who should be followed in his current mood.
