End of An Error has been getting closer race by race, and can pay to support here ahead of Star Trooper, Book's Way and Comfortable Call to name but three. End of An Error has not visited the winner's enclosure since November 2003, but is much better handicapped as a result, and Edna Slack's six-year-old can now earn her keep again by landing this moderate contest. She has displayed bags of stamina in the past, and the way that she picked up from off the pace to finish a close second at Market Rasen 11 days ago suggests that she is coming to hand at last. She gets the vote over Star Trooper who has been a model of consistency, but who always seems to find one or two too good. Owen Nelmes knows all about End of An Error, having been on board for all of her four victories over hurdles, so it is interesting that he rides Book's Way here, but his mount appears well held by the selection on recent running. Comfortable Call is one of the topweights, and needs to show more than when third over slightly further at Sedgefield last time, and for the winner we return to End of An Error.
