Verdict
LADY COUNSELLOR was expected to win at Southwell but can make amends today with a victory. Alan Swinbank, with a fine record in bumper races, should have this filly raring to go after a break. She is a full sister to the wonderful Turbo Linn and is fancied to take advantage of a nice opportunity. River Dragon has run three times at Market Rasen but doesn't seem to have gone forward on any occasion, and a more progressive rival might be one of the point-to-pointers Katie's Prince, Cool Vic and Dunowen Point. The latter, quite well-fancied for a debut run at Liscarroll, has joined a top yard and is not to be discounted.
