Although yet to convince over fences OSCAR HONEY is so well-handicapped that he looks worth chancing on his return. Rose Dobbin's gelding was pulled-up when last seen at Perth but that trip stretches him and the return to shorter is in his favour. Soft ground isn't an issue and he should run well. Cavers Glen needs a market check as he returns from two years off, but a bigger threat might be Stagecoach Amber with the yard in decent form. Emotive is more a Perth specialist, whilst the prolific point-to-pointer Quinder Spring has something to prove after unshipping his jockey in a Perth hunter chase last May.
