Saucy Buck showed some promise earlier this year and was considered good enough to take his chance in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom in June, however he has ultimately been disappointing. Brave Battle is worth a cursory glance for the frame places as he is a Richard Hannon juvenile, whilst connections shouldn't get too optimistic about the claims of Mr Optimistic. Rylee Mooch is worth consideration and appears to save his best for the closing stages. He showed his best performance to date at Kempton and with a return to Polytrack may put in a good run. Country Waltz was a long way behind Duquesa last time out at Nottingham and the latter could play a major role in this race if handling the artificial surface which she has previously struggled on. ONE COOL BEX gets the vote as he enjoys the trip, is in good form after winning at Beverley and this looks a realistic opportunity to secure back-to-back wins for a yard with a 32% record with two-year-olds at this course over recent seasons.
