It is easy to filter out around half the field from calculations as they don't stand a realistic chance. However it becomes more difficult when considering the remainder. Doc Hay will need to improve from his debut run and already gelded connections will be hopeful he starts to bring in prize money soon and Jamie Spencer is a positive jockey booking. Praesepe has not been developing and she has more to find. Nadinska is starting to look exposed and Mick Channon has had just two wins here all year. Luisa Tetrazzini ran on well inside the final furlong here last time but is still a maiden from fourteen starts. Our selection is former Hong Kong performer BUSHWHACKER. We give him one more chance to impress us and with Paul Hanagan preferring to take the ride on him rather than Praesepe who he has previously ridden, we take the hint.
