Verdict

SOPHONIE is a fascinating contender on her first UK start and assuming the market agrees she looks sure to outclass her rivals. Owned by the Crossed Fingers Partnership, this French recruit has some nice looking form from Enghien and her experience of hurdling and chasing should stand her in good stead this afternoon. Her most interesting rival is Diamond MM who shaped with promise in three bumper runs and a recent spin around Southwell should have put her spot on, whilst Are Olive should step up on just a modest debut run. Louisa needs a market check on her hurdling bow with her trainer capable of setting them up, whilst Sara's Smile is expected to improve now jumping a hurdle but she looks like being better over further.
