Verdict

LETHAM ISLAND, Topflight Wildbird and Ruby Crown are all in good heart, with Letham Island taken to make the progression from selling class to handicap grade. Ruby Crown is looking for the hat-trick after two game successes. Only a narrow winner last time, Ruby Crown has been harshly penalised and may have too much weight. Topflight Wildbird has ability and ran well to be second at Towcester on her penultimate start. She still held every chance when unseating her rider next time at Aintree and can go well. Letham Island has been excelling in lower grade, but the form of her latest win has received a boost, with the second taking a conditional jockeys' contest next time. Letham Island can score again.
