In depth

Verdict

Sarobar, Post It and Smart John make the shortlist here in a race where winning form is thin on the ground, and POST IT, who is at least consistent, gets the vote. Smart John returned after a lay-off to run a fine race in defeat, though the form looks weak. He will come on for the run but conceding weight all round he is opposed. Sarobar has been steadily improving and shaped well in a decent race for the money last time. He can go well. Preference is for Post It, who was not beaten far by Sarobar's conqueror last time. His earlier placed effort was a solid run and in a moderate contest, Post It may prove good enough.
