SPANISH AURIGA keeps finding ways to get himself beaten and his jumping left a lot to be desired when a close third behind Island Oscar at Killarney last time. With a better round of hurdling he should be good enough to beat these though he doesn't look one to take a short price about. Point-to-point winner Abbey Lane has only had a couple of runs over timber and will be facing fast ground for the first time but he's likely to make further progress and is definitely on the short-list. Khorun is another winner between the flags who hasn't had much experience over timber but he's shown good pace in bumpers and is one to note for the future. Tir Na Gcapall made a winning racecourse debut in a bumper at Roscommon a year ago and though running too badly to be true in a Listowel bumper last time she had earlier been runner-up over hurdles at Limerick.
