With none of the major stables represented, this may not be that strong a contest. Magical Wonderland, Chester Belle and Little Daphne look the ones to concentrate on with the vote going to the four-year-old Magical Wonderland, who with James Davies' allowance gets plenty of weight off her main rivals. She is out of a mare that won six races over hurdles, including one on fast ground, so the prevailing conditions shouldn't worry her. She may have most to fear from Tiverton Flyer, whose grand dam won five races on the flat. Her yard is in fair form having turned out a couple of winners in the last fortnight, so is worthy of plenty of respect. Little Daphne finished third in a point-to-point back in April, so she does have the edge in experience. Her dam won a bumper at Thurles back in 1993, before going on to win over timber, so she is another who deserves plenty of respect.
