With some of the major stables represented here, this could be quite a hot little contest, and as the stalls are placed in the centre of the course there should be no draw advantage. Beauty Of Dreams, a half-sister to the stables Blakeshall Boy, doesn't exactly catch the eye on breeding, but is from a stable that has sent out 13 juvenile winners so far this term. Love In The Mist is quite a late foal and may find one or two of these that little bit more forward, while Rehia runs here in preference to an engagement later in the week. The latter is from a yard that has a 19% strike rate with its juveniles and is one to keep an eye on. However, the choice is Nine Red, whose dam won six races, all over sprint trips, including the Portland and the Ladbrokes Ayr Gold Cup, back in 1991. She can prove too sharp for her rivals. Sahara Storm, a half-sister to the useful middle-distance performer Tuning may do better when she faces a stiffer test, while Scarlet Empress is one to keep an eye on as she is from the same family as the high-class sprinter Ya Malak.
