Verdict

I Wish indicated that her turn may be near when second to Tychy here over six furlongs last month but the combination of a 4lb rise and a furlong extra is a concern and preference is for Peace Flag, who gets the verdict over High Finance and Music Maid. The selection had proven to be expensive to follow until finally opening her account in a Redcar maiden last time. The daughter of Gold Fever needed every yard of the six-furlong trip that day and should benefit from the step up in trip. The John Hills-trained High Finance was far from disgraced on her debut in this grade when fifth in an arguably better race than this at Newmarket on her most recent start and she rates the main danger. Music Maid has conditions to suit and is entitled to be thereabouts but is more exposed than most of her rivals.
