In depth

Verdict

An awful race where GREENWICH MEANTIME is a tentative selection to come home in front, while Mayor Of Kilcock can go well. The selection hails from the in-form yard of Alan King and races over a trip that should suit, while conditions also look ideal. He should have learned plenty for his recent spin over timber and we'll side with him as an improver today. Mayor Of Kilcock ran a nice enough race in a bumper last time and makes his hurdling debut in this. The ground suits and there is no reason why he can't get very competitive. Bobble Hat Bob can show us more having had one hurdles outing now, while Aspolan's general form looks strong enough to give him a squeak. Aim For The Stars could well improve for this better ground, but preference is for Greenwich Meantime.
