Three-year-olds have won two of the last three and are well represented. Bedouin's Story started odds-on for a novices' event at Salisbury in July and duly obliged on fast ground. He won again on ground with give at Thirsk but is 8lb higher in this better class race. Big Les also represents the younger generation and battled on very well to score at York while Youkan came with a strong burst to score over the minimum here three weeks ago and has no problems with the extra. LORD OBERON's two victories have been at Southwell but he ran very well when runner-up at Newbury in April and though absent subsequently the fact that he made a successful debut in January suggests he'll be ready for this. Tresorier is interesting as John Feane places his horses to the best of their ability and the five-year-old ran a cracking race at the Curragh last time.
