Another interesting looking juvenile contest. Cap Francais made a very encouraging start at Newbury and was impressive at Salisbury though he's yet to face ground with some give. The latter remark also applies to the other penalised entry Drogon, who won on fast ground over 7f here before just failing to concede 6lb to Mordred at Chester with the remainder in another parish. Island Jungle never got going at Brighton but will be a different proposition here while Kingson has struggled to go the pace over 7f on fast going so this looks more his race. Oak Park caught the eye on very testing ground at Carlisle and Prefontaine did better here last time though will need more. Amongst some well-connected newcomers, RED CENTRE, a $300,000 son of Australia out of a winning miler, catches the eye and a chance is taken on John Gosden's colt making a successful debut.
