A dual Listed winner, JOURNEY also went very close in the Group 1 Champions Fillies and Mares at Ascot in October. That’s the best form on offer and John Gosden’s filly can take advantage of the favourable terms. She makes more appeal than stablemates Mill Springs and California and the latter was behind Carnachy at Goodwood last month, as was Miss Marjurie. Dennis Coakley’s mare won last year’s renewal with Lustrous well beaten though the latter reversed running when second in the Lancashire Oaks in July. The Irish filly Laganore has been winning handicaps and has a bit to prove while Sweeping Up has yet to win in pattern company and Namhroodah has plenty to find with Journey.
